Friendship Day is the day in every child’s life which is important for them to the develop the special bond between his/her peers (friends). these peers bring them pleasure, comfort, sometimes distress and almost always important opportunities to learn and develop in a social world.
Friendship’s day was around the corner and children were excited till their toe tips. They were excited to tie their special friendship band to that special friend. This friendship day was celebrated at Jump Thru Joy the best Montessori preschool in pashan with a lot of enthusiasm and excitement! We, the team of Jump Thru Joy had arranged a small special celebration for our little ones to let them know how important their friends are for them. Through this special day children understood the importance of their friends’ part in their life. the event was celebrated as follows:-
We had planned small and simple takeaways for children through which they understand and implement the message.
Each class had their own and unique takeaway made by the children itself in their own special way. The playgroup class teacher had planned a ‘Plant in a cup’ activity, wherein the teacher had kept ready the paper cup in which there was cotton and sesame seeds and a flower on an ice-cream stick. The children had to decorate the cup in their own special way with finger printing. The children really enjoyed dipping their finger in the paints and finger printing the cup.after playgroup comes the nursery class. The nursery class teachers had planned a colorful ice-cream cones in which the children had to decorate together with their friends. They enjoyed guessing the different color ice creams and helping their friends complete each others activities. The Jr. kg and Sr. kg class had a wonderful activity of completing the butterfly wings with their hand prints. all they had to do is paint their hands and print it on one butterfly wing, one wing for one friend. so this activity was done in pairs of friends. through this activity the children thoroughly understood the meaning of friendship and the importance of friends. They understood that a friend is important for us to complete any task if we are stuck with some difficulty.
